With new adventures to explore every day, this summer is sure to be exciting! Our 2012 Summer Camp, Expedition Summer— The Adventure Awaits!, offers a new theme for children to enjoy each week. Schools are able to customize their own adventures based on local attractions, or have various guest speakers visit the school. From the great outdoors to the final frontier, we'll take a fun and exciting trek through time. Choose your weeks or join us for the whole adventure!     Students dive in to underwater fun as they explore lakes and oceans this week. Explorers visit local aquariums, create virtual aquariums, and more in this unit!

    Trips to discovery centers and science museums bring out the scientist in everyone! During Science week, students can try their own science experiments as they hypothesize, explore, experiment, and discover!

    Travel back in time as we take a look at decades in history. We explore the sock hops and poodle skirts of the 1950s, leisure suits and disco balls of the 1970s, moonwalk through the 1980s, and more!

    Everyone loves to play games and this week of Summer Camp will focus on just that! Students share favorite games with each other, learn new games, and even create and host a few game shows of their own!

    The Summer Games makes this the perfect time for Explorers to participate in and learn about various sports! Take a field trip to a local game, bring in a team mascot, or tour a sports arena during this fun-filled week!

    During this week, students listen to music, attend musical or dance performances, play musical instruments, and put on concerts and performances of their own!
  • The Great Outdoors

    The Great Outdoors

    Enjoy an outdoor hike, take a trip to the park, bring nature to the classroom with plants and flowers, or visit a local camping store to learn how to set up camp!
  • Movies and Film-Making

    Movies & Film

    Watch favorite movies or take a trip to a nearby theatre or IMAX to see favorite films—old and new. Explorers even try their hand at film production with movies of their own!

    This week is out of this world as students explore stars, planets, and constellations during Space week!
  • Travel

    Travel

    Students pack their virtual suitcases this week as they expand their horizons with virtual travel to new places! Students learn more about the foods, cultures, people, and landmarks on this trip around the world!
  • Museums

    Museums

    Students explore Egyptian Hieroglyphics, dinosaur skeletons, mementos from major events in history, etc. as they take trips to local museums and more!

Primrose offers year-round opportunities for adventure with our after school program, Explorers Club. Not only does this program offer homework assistance through the Homework Help Program, but it is a place for children to have fun as well.
